Eka Mairina - Profile
Eka Mairina was born in Jakarta in the year of the Horse, on the month of May. Spending most of her teens scrutinizing the books of ledgers and accounts, she decides to pursue her singing interests after graduating with a degree in Accounting from the University Tri Sakti in Jakarta.Eka Mairina profile

Despite spending time studying, Eka was also the second runner up for the Asia Bagus Regional Competition that was held in Kuala Lumpur in 1996. Before embarking into the colorful journey of her singing career, Eka has since been singing in competitions all around Jakarta while she was studying, before she sets her foot on the island where now she calls home.

In Singapore, she was garnered the Champion for the biggest talent quest that was held in 2003 – The Anugerah Competition, beating several other hundreds contenders. During the whole period of the talent quest, she was bearing her one and only daughter, which she named after the championship itself.

After her sweet victory in Anugerah 2003, she was then talent-spotted by music composer and producer Mayuni Omar. A deal was struck and hence the born of her debut album – Untukmu Selamanya.
